Juris Doctor-December 1976 from Oklahoma City University School of Law, admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in April 1977, BBA Degree in Finance and Management in 1972 from the University of Oklahoma, FDIC Specialized Courses: The Art of Negotiation, Income Statement and Balance Sheet Analysis, Liquidators Credit Course, Income Tax Statement Analysis, Civic Involvement 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Lodge 62 in Altus, active in Rotary, served as President of the Jackson County Division of the American Heart Association, served as President of the Jackson County Bar Association, former President of the Great Plains Literacy Council, a licensed pilot and serve on the Altus Municipal Airport Advisory Board, a retired member of the United States Army Reserve and attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel serving as Assistant Chief of Staff for Information Management with the 75th Division Training Command, Houston, Texas, taught aviation law and serve as an adjunct professor with Embry Riddle University, member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Jackson County Bar Association, Greer County Bar Association, Charter Member of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Bar Association, and member of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation.
